At a young age, Charlie became a student at the conservatory at Playhouse Merced, where he developed a special love for dance. In 2011, he began to focus on dance training at TDSF and joined the Elite Dance Teams. He performed with the Elite Teams throughout California, New York City and Europe.

In 2014, Charlie moved to New York City to train at the Joffrey Ballet School, and performed in classics such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, as well as contemporary pieces by Earl Mosley, Winnie Asawakanjanakit and Larisa Calero. In 2019, Charlie joined New York Dance Project as an apprentice and appeared in Alberto Alonso’s, Carmen. Once back in California, he returned to TDSF in 2022 as part of the Ballet faculty.
