Tara Silva's journey with TDSF began in 1983 when she first took the stage as a dancer. She showcased her talent as part of the TDSF Junior Studio Dancers from 1991 to 1994, and in 1992, she transitioned into teaching, specializing in tap and jazz for young students. After taking time away in 1995 to focus on her college education, career, and family, Tara made her much- anticipated return to TDSF in 2010. Her leadership and expertise led her to become the Elite Team Mini Director, and in 2021, she further expanded her influence by becoming the Petite Elite Jazz Director. Beyond her contributions to dance, she is also a dedicated educator at Lonestar Elementary, where she serves as the math specialist for students from TK through sixth grade, inspiring young minds with her passion and commitment to education.
