Jeanne is one of our Premier Teachers at TDSF, with over 65 years teaching experience! She initially studied dance in Fresno, but left for Los Angeles immediately after high school to study at the American School under Eugene Loring and many other well known dancers and choreographers. In addition to dance classes, she studied dance history, art as it applied to dance, terminology, dance notation, choreography, and more.

At the American School, Jeanne took classes and/or danced with Balanchine, Charles Weidman, Merce Cunningham, Carmen De Lavalad, Cyd Charise, Mitzi Gaynor, Ginger Rogers, Debbie Reynolds, and Juliette Prowse. Career highlights include U.S.O. Christmas Shows with Bob Hope in the South Pacific and tours with Eugene Loring's Dance Players. Jeanne's advice to aspiring dancers: Use your brains, but follow your heart.
